BOO

Woke up early and watched a pile of shite on RTE.
One year ago today I ran my first marathon in Ireland with Natasha and Jean.

I went on to run four in total during the year since. Not bad for an old goat I think.
Up and ready for the days labor.

Talked to Una on Skype for a while. Then headed down to the shop. Loaded up stuff for Lenny into the van and headed off over to Chadwick Farms. I picked up me three doors on the way and dropped them off at home when I passed by.

Headed over to Lenny. We had a chat while I unloaded the tools. Picked up a 8 foot ladder and headed off.

Back to the shop. Elder arrived to help me with the investigation. We removed the metal siding and had a look at the building. It was in bad shape. The main leak was coming in from a bad roof install. Took photos and put it all back together for now.

Finished up and headed home.

Home and had some candy. Then went over to Bridget to go for a wee run together. It was my run for the marathon anniversary.

Headed home to me wifey. Had dinner.

Ate tiramisu for dessert.  Frigging wired.

Began watching a French TV Show called “Spira”. l Could follow the sub titles with the language ok enough. Will have to get a second look at it to hold my attention.

We had 6 trick and treaters tonight. A princess, a masked lad, an undertaker, a magical creature and a “Wary Mary” mix of Scary Mary with anything he could find to wear.

I will now get on with my evening here now that the journal is in the books.

Watched a movie in bed last night, “A Cat In Paris”

It was ok to help me sleep at least but I did finish it.

Woke up tired.

Got the morning duties done and headed out to work. Back at the shop today. I went over to Whole Foods Bellevue to pick up more supplies and tools. Back to the shop and unloaded.

Worked on repairing a concrete vibrator. Installed a new lead and cleaned it out. Still blowing breakers. I will work on it more tomorrow if I get the chance. As I was leaving the man lift showed up so I moved it over to a parking area for the morning. Left late.

Stopped off and got the tabs on the way home.

Then down to Greenlake for a run. Took in the Zoo also. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/238738572

Dinner and lots of dessert.

Finished out Homeland Season 1.

It was ok.

Sounders 1 – Green Day 0

Woke up so early but in great form.

The Sounders game 1 is announced for this Friday the 2nd Meanwhile Green Day cancelled their concert. Bah.

Headed down to CB Air @ Boeing Field. Worked along with Elder and Pat again. Had a good day altogether even though it pissed down for a lot of the time there. Got done and headed over to the DOL to get the tabs for the Malibu but they were closed.
Headed over to Greenlake next and went for a loop of the lake and zoo. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/238475642

Home to a grand dinner ala Natasha.

Watched another episode of “Homeland”

Now something to keep me busy or something,

Headed off over to Thornton Place to see a movie “Sinister”
HaloweenParty2012011.jpg

Had to see something of a horror for the week that is in it and all. This was a good one. Not a real horror more of a I am not sure. Well anyway good enough for Halloween.

Stopped into QFC on the way back home.

Then home and put on the ole dinner. Ate is up later on.

Then even later again we had some Strawberry Cream cake and watched 3 episodes of Homeland Season 1.

Now I will become a recluse for a while.

Peter Sellers

Woke up early and rested.

Up for tea. Had some bread, peanut butter and jam later on for me run fuel.

Got the running clothes on and off I went. It was raining and cold out so I wore me Eddie Bauer jacket. Ran down to Greenlake, around the lake and zoo twice then. Met Natasha at mile 12.11 coming the other way. She looked great. Side five and we continued on our way, I then ran back up from the lake. Passed the half marathon mark at 88th on Wallingford. Then ran on for the two miles to home. What a great run. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/237659263

I had listened to Michael O Gorman’s interview again, then Podcasts from the Grand daughters of Lady Gregory and their time staying at Coole Park. This was lovely to listen to since I love visiting Coole. Next up was a podcast about Walter Benjamin and his trip over the Pyrenees. Maybe we will follow his trek when we go back in July. The last podcast to take me all the way home was the story of Ned Kelly and his family in Australia. Very interesting.
Home.  Went inside the castle soaked from the rain on the outside and from sweat on the inside. Made me way straight into the piping hot shower. It was so nice.

Ate me lunch. The Mallet came by to visit for a while. He told me he passes all the time but I am never home. I have a life I suppose.

Spent the rest of the afternoon watching shows on RTE.

Natasha and I got dressed up as what Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsen from the movie Grease may look like today 35 years after high school.

Headed over to Trisha and Carrie’s Annual Halloween Party.

Tisha, Carrie, Nolan, Zoe, Heather, Eric, Ben, Thomas, Mitch, Brenda, Natalie, Thea, Beth, Sean, Caileagh, Megan. and Phil were all in attendance this year.

So a night of, nice people and good food passed by very slow into the new day.

A good day

Woke up in ok shape.

Headed down to the shop. Met Elder there and he followed me down to Boeing Field for the day of labor. Met with all the fellows there. We chatted for a while. Then Pat, Elder and I spent the day laying down vapor barrier. Had a chat with Erica. She is nice.  It was one of the better work days I had in a long time.

Headed home.

Natasha fixed me a veggie burger and then we headed over to Thornton. Place to see a movie. “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”
the-perks-of-being-a-wallflower.jpg
Ate a pile of candy during the movie. The movie was a good one. I liked it.

Home

Had a bowl of pasta for the snack and for fuel to run tomorrow.

I may try and nap now
