We head out after a wee while.
Home and off to sleep for a few hours.

In the morning I make up a packed lunch for Natasha and meself along with a thermos of hot chocolate. We head on over and meet up with Phil and Matt at the Outlet Mall in North Bend. Load into our car and off we go over the I-90 for a while further. We stop off at the Asahel Curtis/Denny Creek exit (47) and find parking.

We put on the shoes and head out for the trek.

We hiked up the Annette Lake Trail until we got to the railroad tracks and then went left away from the lake for quite a bit. Breaking new snow tracks along the way. We had a fine feast for our break of sandwiches, cookies and hot chocolate.

Back to the car many hours later and we head home after dropping our pals off at their car.

Arrive home where I run in and change into my running shoes and straight back out the door. I met me pal Julie down at LFP

and we went for our annual New Years Run together. Another really good chat and laughs along the way. We stop in to the store and buy a couple of lottery tickets for the 380 million purse.

Then I head back home where I have me shower and a cup of tea. We head over to the Stoneburner  Pizza to meet back up with Matt and Phil for the dinner. Our waiter was so good. He was an interesting fellow indeed.
Natasha and I had the  Yukon Potato & Chanterelle pizza and the Lumache which was a butternut squash baked “mac & cheese” for our first dinner of 2016. Our first dessert was a Chestnut Tiramisu which had Marscapone Cream / Coffee / Chestnut Cake / Chestnut Glace in it. Real good.

We went across the street to The Tractor to see The Paperboys for our first concert of the year. Had a grand time here and the bans were the best yet. Had a bit of fun with the people watching as well.
