March 2017

Woke at 1:45

Weighed in light again. A new low of 152.6.
Passed away the morning doing odds and ends.

Worked at the shop all day.

Watched a movie at home called Gold

It was a good one.

Ate a few and then some more deserts until time hit for the bed.

Me Natasha is off with the girlies for the weekend so I retire to me bachelor bed.

Cheers

Up and at them after a grand sleep.

Headed off on a hunt for a bathroom fan for E2. Went to different places and finally got it at MacLendons. Home Depot for a few more items.

Then to the job and worked for hours removing the old and installing the new in Jackie’s unit.

Home

Dinner

Went down to the lake and met with Aaron and we ran around it once for a fast three miler.

Home

Dessert and watched a few of the old American The Office.

Woke up after a grand rest.

Weighed in the lightest I have ever in my adult life. 153.6lbs.

Kent came by and we went off to work stopping in at Home Depot on the way. Sanded, primed, textured, painted, installed curtains, trim, vacuumed, rearranged the furniture, removed all tools and materials along with the garbage. Job done in Butches unit. Also today we went up on the roof and cut down the lead metal on the vent pipes so the covers sealed up tighter.
I went over to E2 and met with the home owner there. Jacquelynn was her name and she truly was wonderful. We had a great chat and I got to know her a lot better. I did temporary repair the ceiling fan in the bathroom.

Home

Natasha arrived, I had the tea, Thea arrived and then we all headed down town. We parked and went to Yummi Bowl for dinner.  Matt and Philippa showed up and we chatted the evening away. Headed over to Starbucks for drinks and dessert.

Next we went up to the Paramount Theater to see the Farewell Tour of Mamma Mia.

The show started and just moved along very good. 26 actors on stage doing one of the better versions of the show we have seen. Left there in a upbeat mood, but then again that is how I roll.

Now a wee nap

Up and passed away the AM. Kent came by and had tea before we headed off t the job in North Bothell.

Stopped off at Home Depot on the way. Got to Butch’s home. We went to work there all day. Worked over in E2 as well to find the leak there. Found the fan had a lot of water condensation inside it and was full of water.

I decided to run home from the job and got a 12 mile run in.

Home

Ate a pile of food like a hungry wolf. Had dessert and we watched the last episode of Sherlock Season 4.

Now a nap

Up after a good nights sleep.

Headed off tot he new project and got there on time. A later start this day. Met with Butch at his house. The ServiceMaster showed up and the two lads went to work on removing the drywall and insulation off the ceiling and wall in the bedroom.

I climbed up on the roof and searched for the area where the water was coming in. Everything looked alright. I continued checking in with the lads. Once they were done I got to go up into the attic and looked all around. Could see where water had been coming in before but no signs of any new water. We need to do a hose test up here.

I cleaned up and had an hour to kill before my next appointment. I headed on down to a park I had seen on maps that was a short drive away. It is called North Creek Park.  I parked and went for a run up and down along the boardwalk and up the streets. Then back and ran the boardwalk both ways again with the other street. Got done with a strong 6 mile run and headed back to the job.

Met with the home owner and I climbed up in his attic. There was no sign of water in this one. I crawled around up there for a while and finally went outside. I climbed up on the roof and didn’t see anything of real concern there either. Well except a cap on the drain vent that might be a suspect. I will have to repair that tomorrow.

Headed out of there well after 4pm and headed towards home. Stopped into Fred Meyer for the supplies. I was heading out and saw Grainne driving in to the lot. I drove around and we chatted for a while. She is in good form and it was good to see her.

Home

Ate the dinner and then dessert while we watched The Damned – Don’t You Wish We Were Dead.

It was good and interesting We will be more ready for the concert coming up in less than two weeks.

Now me sleep.

Up after a long long not normal sleep. Close to eight hours I bet.

Passed away the morning relaxing. Got a grand surprise text from Bridget O and she came by for the cuppa and chat. We talked for a good while with Natasha included. Got to read her study life of three years summed up on a four page document. Brilliant.
Bridget and Brian arrived back which was a great treat. The kitchen was like an Irish kitchen and the tea was poured down our throats for a couple of hours in total this morning.

Natasha went to the gym and the friends left. Then I went out for my long run which was now is  only going to be a shirt one so I ran down and around the park four times and back home for an enjoyable four mile run.

Natasha got home right before me. We had lunch as people do. Then I hung up a ew pictures in the house. I did the roots of Natasha’s hair and then did the whole head. Rinsed it off once it was time to do so.

Natasha and I had a great well needed chat until the end of the day. Missed going to the memorial at the Owl because of lost time. Had a grand dinner and dessert.

Up and at them at 2am. Passed away the many hours before the day got started.

We headed on downtown to go to a presentation. Stopped in to Starbucks for more tea and had the spinach scramble wrap for our breakfast.

Then up to the Camlin Hotel to sit for our two hour presentation by WorldMark. We met with Jacob and he knew pretty quick we weren’t buyers. He took us out of the room and went on a bit of a rant about wasting time and the like and we agreed it went both ways. But here we sit like two misbehaving school kids until our time was up. He did come back a couple of times with his smart comments and showed how this system worked for over 900,000 people plus their families. Not for us and we got to leave after the final sales girl came over. Down stairs and picked up our week vacation voucher and the parking card.

Home

I went down to LFP and met with Julie. We went for a five plus mile run down along the BGT. We did alright and had a good chat to boot. Went in to the Albertsons after and checked our non winning lottery tickets. Bought ten dollars of scratch tickets and went over to Starbucks.

We scratched them while we were there and then back to the store and picked up our $5 win. Re gambled that again and we will scratch that card at a later date.

Home.
Natasha and I went over to Tengu sushi for lunch. Then home again.

Watched some of the American “Office’ and I got a nap in.

Headed over to see Marci and John’s new home up by the Othello Park. Went through a few ideas of remodeling with them. Matt, Philippa and Cara showed up as well. The we went over to Huarachitos Cocina Mexicana for dinner. Passed away some time here. Then headed back out.

We slid down the slide in the park on the way back. Said our goodbyes and off home we all went.

Natasha and I ate our dessert as we watched the BBC Two show called The Adventure Show. It was about an ultra run straight through from start to finish. Scotland looked good as usual on the telly and makes us ant to maybe do the hike there next year at least think more about it anyway.

Now maybe a nap again.
