Up and out. Went to West Seattle to pick up Jason. His truck is in the shop. Stopped off at Home Depot on the way. Finished off the tile before lunch. Taco Bell again. I am so fecking tired of that place. Tomorrow I will bring my lunch. Back to work and started grouting the tile.
Had a great day with Cleo. Dr Laura stopped by too. Got some new American words in my head today. I may do a wee bit better on the crosswords now.
Home for dinner.
Watched the last American Idol for the year. I fucking hate the show but I was happy with who won.

Last night I set the trap and watched “Martian Child” on DVD.
The movie was actually ok.
Woke up early. The rat had dined on the peanut butter on the trap but the fecking thing didn’t trip. Hopefully he will come back for seconds tonight. I will wedge the peanut butter into the trap.
What did one rat say to the other?
That organic peanut butter will kill you.
Got more frigging tile on the way to work.
Worked like mad until lunch. Luke came by to paint.
Taco Bell for lunch.
Cleopatra and her daughter had kidney type of infections today. I told her Jason had peed in the kitchen sink and that was where they got the infection.
Worked just as hard after lunch.
Dinner at home.
Then off around the Arboretum for a gwal of a walk.
Now maybe a movie.

Set the ole trap before bed last night and this morning there was a rat in the trap. I was happy but my mind was drawn to the vegans at the street fair and rats deserve to live too.
With one rat in the plastic coffin I head to work. Picked up tile on the way. Then put in a good enough day. Taco Bell for lunch. Had a great ole chat with Cleo throughout the day. She had no limits to her conversation. Home stopping off at the tile stores along the way.
Dinner at home and walked around Greenlake for a wee exercise.

Up and ate breakfast at home. Then off up to do the Monte Cristo hike up past Granite Falls. This is our third attempt to do this hike over the last ten years. As we near the area there is a sign letting us know that the road is closed ahead. We trudge on. Sure enough the gate is across the road and it is unplowed beyond that point. Third attempt failed. We stop off at the Forest Service Center and talk with Diane and David. We get a lot of info from them. The road wont be opened up for a few more months. No harm we will hike on the “Lake 22” trail. We pay our annual Forest Land Pass and head out.

We go as far as where the avalanche hit in January. We had been told about the teenage girl who had lost her life in the slide.
I put up a rock altar in memory of Emily Swanson. It must be terrible hard on her parents and loved ones.
Back down we go. 
Back at the bottom after about 4 miles up and back.
Well we had 2.5 of the essentials on this list.
Back in the Jeep and over to the picnic area for our lunch.
Cooked our wraps in the fire for a while and then ate like three wild hogs.
With nice trail and lunch under out belts we head back to Seattle.
Carmen popped in for a while.
Last week Bob who lives next door to Cleopatra said the best Italian restaurant in Seattle was “Tutta Bella” . This comment was backed up by Cleo herself so I looked up the place they were talking about in Columbia City and found out there was on up here on Stone Way. Up early as usual really. Called home and talked to Aunt Marie. She was in great form and misses her traveling companion. (Mam). I was going to tell her that mam came two times yesterday to visit me.

I had a Raspberry Shortcake there. It was not so great. They are getting worse over the years. There was good music along with shite music at the fair. There were Democrats, Republicans, food, clothes, petitions, right to life, right to death, belly dancers, jugglers, gay, straight. young, old, well dressed, nearly naked, crafts, arts, sickles and shite there too. I love Seattle.
Back home we go. Brendan and James came by for a visit. Had a great chat with them. I tried to force an answer on the big day now after the California ruling.
The weather was so nice today, there were loads of dirty rotten hairy bikers riding around everywhere. I took my motorcycle out for a burn and had a hair cut on the way home.
Started to watch a DVD “There Will Be Blood”
Then half way through went over for dessert with Brendan and James. Carmen was there. Met some other people, Aleese, Peggy and some other girl. Her name left me. I snuck off like a tinker after I had the strawberry shortcake and a chat.
Back to my movie.
I liked this movie a lot. An easy walk to the Oscars for Daniel Day Lewis.

Up and out the door to get tile for Cleo’s house. A stop into two Home Depots and no frigging tile there. Got it at another tile shop. Went to work. Installed all the tile we had.
We went to Taco Bell for lunch. Had fun with Vicky and Paula there.
Dr. Laura came by and gave me a back massage. It was so good. I had fun with her. She is really great too. Wow what a job this has been. The end is now in sight.

Today I went over to the island of Vashon. I had not been there since July last year. The place was overgrown but the fellows were working on it. I had so many great memories over the years here. It was a odd feeling to be back now. Joked and talked with Josh, Nick, Milton, Baltazar, Glenn and Victor throughout the day. Worked the day away. Ate the lunch I brought with me. Got the ferry back at a decent time. Nick rode with me.
Cooked dinner at home.
Carmen came by for the visit. Mixed juice drink, a bit more of a jigsaw together and a chat. Now I will ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Woke up to the phone alarm. Packed up and checked out. Realta got in around 1:30 so she was sleepy. We got a cab to the airport. Checked into Alaska this time.
We had breakfast at the Starbucks. Realta told us that there were a lot of people at the reception wondering where we were last night.
We get on the Boeing 737 and fly on home to Seattle. A two plus hour flight seems so short after you have been on fifteen plus hours of flying lately. This will end our traveling for a while. We are glad. It is not too often one gets burned out on taking vacations. We have reached our limit.
Picked up the car and headed home. Bollixed the rest of the day away.
Went to the Sunlight Cafe for dinner and Whole Foods for dessert.
Carmen came by for the visit. Evgini dropped in too.

Down to The Java Coast for breakfast. This time I had an orange cranberry muffin with some cream cheese.
We headed back into the pool for a swim. Met Victoria there. Had a wee chat for half an hour. She got the news on mothers day that she was pregnant again. Happy Days.
Realta and I head over to The Venetian.
We go into “Madame Tussauds” http://www.mtvegas.com/ . The last time we were in Tussauds together was back in October 1995 at the one in London. A long time ago. In we go. I had been to this one a few years ago and thought it was ok.

We meet Roger, Paul, Donny, Shawn, Brian T. and a pile more at the bar. We make it up to the Chapel with seconds to spare.
The wedding of Sinead and Michael goes off great.

We head back to the room before the reception.
